The Hee Lounge Chair was created by Hee Welling for the Danish design label HAY. Since its launch in 2002, HAY has been a proponent of the Danish Modern movement and has created furniture and accessories for the home and office that are not only sophisticated and contemporary but also functional. Danish-born Hee Welling has always been fascinated by cabinet-making and traditional furniture production methods. He combines this interest with modern design. He has achieved many prizes such as the USA Good Design Award and has been named Danish Designer of the Year twice. Like all of Welling's work, the Hee Lounge Chair is characterised by its impressive sense of proportion, practicality and simple elegance. With its wide seat, the lounge chair is truly comfortable, while the design complements any outdoor setting from gardens and patios to balconies. Made from galvanised steel, this outdoor chair is weatherproof and stackable, giving a functional design that complements other pieces by Hee Welling. The Hee Lounge Chair measures 67 x 72 x 67 cm and has a comfortable seat height of 37cm.Plastic gliders are included.
